Ohh dear gawd.. You know it’s pensioner thursday (aka pay day) when your already full bus rolls on up to Zillmere and a sea of grey hair and blue washes is waiting to fill every nonexistant spare spot… Mmmm soak that scent up people La Elderly by Dior…

At the coast on Monday we burried Dee in the Sand and left her to dig herself out with only a itty bitty spade.. Hahaha!

Pretty sure I’m excited as hell right now… Last week there was a DAFT PUNK tour announced, their first tour of Australia. And as if their not enough backing them up is The Presets, SebastiAn and Kavinsky and more….

But the reason why I’m excited is on a select couple of mailing lists last night and early this morning there was a ‘subscribers only’ pre-sale of tickets announced for 12:00 pm today.. with the official release of tickets next week on the 13th.

So I was there just before 12:00 pm on the Ticket Master site refreshing it like a mad man until they were available… Both myself and my mate got through a snatched up a few tickets each! Moments before the site crashed I might add… and its still down at the moment… along with the ITM website which was also selling them but I don’t think it was ever working!?

Pretty sure this is the first time in my life I’ve ever waited out to buy tickets as soon as they’re released!

It was early in the evening.. I was out clubbing.. I was wearing the one pair of jeans I own that needs a belt to hold them up.. I was wearing a new belt thats been worn maybe twice.. I was in the toilet in the Family standing at the troff when the unimaginable happened! Janet Jackson might call it a wardrobe incident… But I’m calling it the belt incident..

The buckle broke right off… Fortunately it didn’t land in the troff but unfortunately it was beyond repair. Armed with only 3 hair pins donated by a friend, and having seen a number of Macgyver episodes in my youth, I attempted the unimaginable.

Believe it on not this lasted be the rest of the night without needing any further work.. and I was evening doing heaps of dancing and running around between clubs!

Mid night friday night, drove up to the intersection at the Valley five ways.. was sitting at a red light next to a cop car talking on the phone… Was heading home from clubbing…

Distracted by the phone conversation I was having I ran the red light…. I can only assume I noticed some other direction got their green… Realised I ran it when I was half way through the intersection cause there were pedestrians crossing in front of me!!

Strangely enough the cop chose not to follow? Despite the hour of night.. and that I could have (or might have) been some blind drunk driver…unbelievable!!

Apparently all my good deeds haven’t gone unrewarded.. Hehe

One hell of a hazy weekend but what a way to ring in another birthday! Just to prove you’re not getting too old yet.. Hahaha! Thanks to everyone who came was really good to see you all there!

We went out to waking boarding on the weekend. One of my mates is sponsored or something which is why he gets to use this boat and private lake. Some awesome photos though! Check them out…
