Scanning through Google news I came across an article “On Celebrating Darwin” which began with “This year we have an important double anniversary of Charles Darwin: the 200th anniversary of his birth, and the 150th anniversary of his classic work…”

I continued reading only to next minute realise Charles Darwin is being compared to Hitler.. then it goes on to attempt to draw links between darwinism and abortion, infanticide, and euthanasia… I’m appauled, then realise I’m reading “Christian Today”…

Nice work celebrating the guys birthday, by writing slandereous propaganda!

Even worse though, having the nerve to pretense the entire article with “Celebrating Darwin” only taint the man and his work… The author begins the article with notable attempts at sounding unbiased, until the next four pages of the article drag the mans reputation through the dirt without reference to popular opposing views.

The author then continues by drawing loose connections to the unsavoury opinions and actions of other individuals (i.e. Hilter) as though these were the direct influcence of and results of Darwins scientic theory… all easily refutable arguements a primary student (perhaps a free thinking child who hasn’t been choking on the force fed ideals of intelligent design) could tackle!

GOD created man in his image such is the religious and non-scientic theory of “intelligent design”.. With a world full of rapists, peadophiles and murders at the extreme with just plain rude, inconsiderate and self absorbed individuals towards the other end… I’d be just as apprehensive in walking down a dark alley as I would meeting my maker..

Lets get one thing straight religion has no place in science and vica versa…

But seriously… I can’t decided whether I should go to Big Day Out this weekend or not…

Started out all well and good until about 4klm the storm had crept up and it started spitting, when these were taken from the story bridge:

Moments after this its start pouring so I keep running until I finally made it to the Marriott Hotel, was huddled in the corner for a few moments when the winds started and blew two signs which were deflected but then it pick up this massive door mat and hit me in the face! Haha..

First photo is the door mat in the garden behind me, the second the is the size of the door mat after things had calmed down and it was back where it belonged! After things calmed down I started to run off again which is when the hail hit so I had to run back.. haha!

Anyway eventually made it back to southbank and to car and was saturated… made the most of the distance and still ran all the way! Must have looked like I’d lost it going out for a run despite the weather! The water cushioned socks felt great though.. Haha..

Ok Grant here is my Rhyme and you’ll think that its great!!
You’ll have to tell me how I go and how well it will rate
Where do I start, fuk I just cant seem to think straight
There are too many words to choose and so many to contemplate
But ill have to be quick! As the time is already 12.48!
Fuket this is to hard, I gotta go now before I am late!

Grantus Maximus:

Sorry I haven’t had a chance to get back
was doing some work cause I felt slack.
That wasn’t a bad a attempt at rhyming,
and if anyone says its crap they’d be lying.
I could go on and tell you some random story,
but lets face it 6 lines holds enough glory ;)

Miss Martin:

That was good Grant, your rhyming really is okay!
But we all know im better, you’ll admit it one day
Ive been rhyming for years, the “Rhyming Game” is wat I play
Ask anyone who knows me! Ill tell u wat they’ll say
“Karina and her damn rhymes, I wish she would just go away!”
“She rhymes and she rhymes with her rhyming display”
But I know the truth and ill tell u if I just may!
They say it cos they all cant rhyme and when they try to its gay!

Grantus Maximus:

Miss Martin I was impressed with your submission,
but it sounded like you wanted to have a competition?
Don’t get me wrong you seem to have some ambition,
but when you get in to my league you’ll need more ammunition.
You’ve got no chance up against me the master tactician!
Hell, I’m that good I should be some black musician!
And why are you rhyming with short little words like gay?
Is it some mentally challenged child your trying to portray?
Even I can use little words or phrases, see, childs play…

Grantus Maximus:

You’re probably madly typing now or scratching head,
trying to think of some better to finally put this to bed.
But you see while your there pausing and thinking,
mean while i’m here rhyming without even blinking..
Nothing back yet, you must have u finished working?
Just put anything down, no need to get fussy!
Ohh and Karina, “put a leg up u hussy”!

Miss Martin:

Haha dont you be silly its not like that at all!
I am busy working and I dont really mean to stall
Its clear to me and the writing is all over the wall
That ill come up with a killer rhyme that will make yours look small!!
You have presented the challenge and now ill play hardball
So watch out Grantus Maximus, im in for the rhyming long haul!!

Haha Grant that rhyme was awesome and i’ll be sure to congratulate!!
But the challenge is now on and your rhymes I will now detonate
I must say though that your rhymes really are a huge deadweight
You see they arent very consistent and the words you fail to intergrate
So if you give me a moment and give me a chance to demonstrate
Ill explain why your rhymes suck and they all eventually deflate
Its cos when you rhyme the words must be the same co-ordinate
The word must be the same all the way through like mine which all end in “ate”
You throw a word in there and then with another word you re-instate
So reading an inconsistant rhyme beings to really make one frustrate!
Im just giving you some tips to help you next time you have a rhyme to create
But we all know ill win this game and when I do ill celebrate!!

Alright clearly Melissa doesn’t have anything to contribute.
Chances are the fact it’s past 4pm is probably to attribute.

Anyways in response to slime I mean rhyme, I’m not sure where you went to school,
but not all types of poems or rhymes are suppose to work that way you fool!

For example this is four line Stanza
but notice this bit that doesn’t rhyme?
your confused now, but then I say bonanza
and you start to see this pattern of mine

Or I could get really complex and do a Rhyme royal
Chances are you won’t know what the rules for this are?
Don’t confuse it for a Stanza just cause they start the same darl.
Hopefully you understand the last pattern and get it so far.
Anyways I’m over teaching you rhyming and must tend to my car.
I noticed after driving it in to work this morning the tire was flat
and upon inspection saw a screw in it?! so I really can’t stay and chat.
