Somethings just aren’t meant to make sense… One recent example came from the influence of alcohol and boredom.. Can you do a handstand while holding a golf ball with your feet and recite the alphabet backwards? Turns out I can’t but it was worth a try.. HAHAHA!
Okay so if you’re not computer savvy turn away now.. most of my friends (sorry guys) aren’t, who presumable make up most of the people who actually bother to read this blog!
File fragmentation is when a single file is (without your knowledge) is physically stored by splitting it and putting bits on various areas of your hard drive. This is common when a big file won’t fit in any of the little pigeon holes of free space… so its split but still looks like it normally would to you…
Anyways this is a production server at work running Windows 2000 Advanced Server. This is a fragmentation analysis of a drive… The areas in green I believe basically untouchable the rest of the drive however is ALL fragmented… RED is bad.. This is the for time anyone had see a drive this bad!
We just had a fire alarm go off in our building… Eager for the distraction from work most of us started socialising and started looking out the windows at the streets below.. Then we notice some huge parade/march of people walking up the middle of George street with a police escort…
With the sirens of fire engines off in the distance I thought wouldn’t it be funny for the fire engines to come mow down the crowd? No, come on it would and you know it! Hehe! Guess what happened? If you look closely at this photo although it may be hard to make out.. the crowd was dispersing, running for the foot paths as the fire engines came up behind them.
Hahaha.. Don’t sleep! Else the super glue could come out and you could end up with straws paper McDonalds lids and coins super glued to your feet.. Hahah!
For those of your interested I just got a phone call from Andrew. Him and Benny had just hired a car and were driving out of London heading for Scotland. Apparently they were going to stay in some back packers place in the city for a few nights.
He phone for tech support on his PDA apparently the GPS software kept turning off and they had no idea where they were going.. Haha!
