Clubbing in bangkok…
Sunday after another day of shopping we decided to hit the clubs!
We first went to Bed Supper club which is just a few doors down, and as you’ll see from their website its just one large cylinder. Only half of the club was open but it was play some nice deep beats which kept us entertained. Drink prices are fairly similar to that in Brisbane but its marketed towards farangs (thai for foreigner).
We also went to check out another club (Q Bar, bangkok’s oldest nightclub) just around the corner but it was playing top 30 stuff and was too crowded and full of dirty of men and their thai girls.
Clubbing here dies in the arse way too early as well! I was just getting in the mood (although the girls had piked back to the hotel) and next thing the lights come on and the music stops, this was at about 1am!!
One of my brissy friend JoJo made it to the club as they closed to which was unfortunate… She just happened to be over here in Thailand at the same time.
So anyway I went back to the hotel and spent the next 20min trying my very best (in a half cut state) to operate a combined washer drier. After starting a cycle that I thought was going to do what I wanted I realised I hadn’t put everything in there.. so another 20mins was spent try to stop it unsuccessfully.. Ohh and when the machines say only use front loading detergent, shampoo seems to work just as good in case anyone else gets desperate.
When we head back to bangkok on our last weekend hopefully we’ll find some better clubs although the city doesn’t seem to have much on offer unless you wanna spend some ‘quality time’ with some of the thai girls.
